Kikokiko means meat in Māori which is the language used in Nepal. 

Kush Thapa was Born in Nepal then moved to New Zealand and studied cookery in Taranaki. After his studies he worked is way up working in cafes, nice lodges and then in several high end restaurants across New Zealand. Soon later Kush opened Kai KikoKiko. Kushal was running the business with a partner until he bought it from him in January 2022. Kai KikoKiko had been opening everyday since then to serve slow cooked meats in the heart of Wanaka.
